
Dr. Charmaine I. Ortiz is an experienced dentist who
earned her dental degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in
1994. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Stetson University, Daytona
Beach and Seminole Community College.
Dr. Ortiz is a certified provider of Invisalign
(invisible braces) and Lumineers (and other porcelain veneers). She has also
been trained in the use of dental lasers and the treatment of Bruxism
(clenching/grinding), and sleep apnea using dental technology.
She is also certified in the use of Botox and dermal fillers for
cosmetic and therapeutic treatments. Although she provides services in all
phases of general dentistry, she has a special interest in cosmetic/functional
makeovers.
Dr. Ortiz is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida
Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic
Dentistry , and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of
Laser Dentistry (holds advanced proficiency status). She also has post graduate
training from the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Studies.
She enjoys volunteering for the children/youth ministry at Unity
Church, New Hope for Kids, and Dentistry from the Heart. She has also been
involved in medical/dental missions to the Dominican Republic and Honduras.
She loves many physical activities including cycling (spinning), yoga,
martial arts, Latin dance, and is a certified Zumba instructor.
Dr. Ortiz is originally from Puerto Rico and has been in the Central
Florida area since 1982. She speaks fluent English and Spanish. She loves to
travel and learning/embracing other cultures.
She has one son that keeps her on the go and above all, enjoys being a
mom and spending time with him…
